And here I am once more with a movie review. I just hope this whole blog won't become only about this.
Yesterday I saw Hanna, and I must say it's not that bad. When I say 'it's not that bad' I mean I didn't feel the urge of killing myself while watching the movie: a quite remarkable result.
A light and undeveloped plot around genetically modified kids makes the movie all about those few action scenes. The audience and me as part of them, is mostly intrigued by the contrast between the harmless look of the 15 years old Saoirse Ronan and the lethal weapon she is. Some funny jokes and scene break the tension once in a while.
Needless to say, as a Chemical Brothers fan I accepted to watch the movie mostly for its original soundtrack which was indeed notable. Sometimes I had the feeling that the music was so beautiful and better than the scene, that the music was becoming the centre of attention. If you fancy watching movies about assassin kids, if you miss the feeling Léon gave you and you want to pep it up with some good electro music and creepy looking Cate Blanchett, do not miss Hanna. That's all.
