If I look at the posts I wrote in March they were really few. Maybe I wrote only two. I was getting out of a "one blogpost per day" challenge and I couldn't get myself to write anymore. It felt like I was drained of ideas and I just decided to take a vacation from the blog and from intensive writing. I focussed on my March challenge which was "being vegeterian". I can tell you that I am not going to be vegetarian for the rest of my life as my experiment wasn't tied to any ethical principle, but rather to an health challenge. Being vegetarian made me appreciate dishes I wouldn't have ordered in a restaurant and therefore helped me expand my food taste. In addition the feeling only eating vegetables give you is very nice as you feel lighter and I found I was also less thirsty than usual. With one challenge gone, a new one comes around.
The month ahead will see me trying to write a novel; I always wanted to write a short novel but never managed to get past my criticism for the first part of the story and therefore I never managed to finish a story. This is going to change as with a daily word cap I will force myself to write and go on so that the story develops.
Undoubtedly the quality of the story I'll write is going to be very low, but I will have accomplished something I always longed for in my life: writing a novel.
... but why am I writing here instead than concentrating on my daily words...?
