Hello readers, here we go with a second shortlist of my favorite opening movie credits.
Do not hesitate to post yours in the comments since I am always eager to find out more.
1) Charade (1963) - As any movie with Audrey Hepburn this is very dear to me, but I must say the titles are just amazing. The 60's were golden years for graphic designers and such credits.
2) Casinò Royale (2006) - James Bond movies always feature pretty good opening credits. Although this one cannot be considered as historical it marked the ground for a proud return to stunning opening credits. An art that was starting to fade.
3) The legend of 1900 (1998) - This is not a spectacular opening credits sequence, I wish I could find a video with the English version of it, but I didn't succeed. This movie is just magic and the idea for the start is really moving so, here is the opening title sequence with an invite for you to see it if you didn't already. Oh, and this scene is superb.
4) Dr. Strangelove (1964) - I knew I liked Stanley Kubrick's movies even before I started watching them: why? Maybe I had heard so good things of him that I had this idea in mind, or simply because I was so fascinated by his genius. If last time I shortlisted the opening credits of "The Shining" it is now time for Dr. Strangelove's. The beautiful and romantic music used to film the bombs flying over cities is a masterpiece of irony and wit.

Ahah, finally a James Bond opening! I love the Quantum of Solace opening as well, with the crazy car run and the horse race in Sienna.
The Charade opening is as puzzling as the movie itself ^^
