Seed, soil and water: what ideas need

I won't try to define an idea, as many famous and more eminent philosophers and thinkers have already fulfilled this task in a remarkable way. I simply wish to experience the burst of emotion and vision when an idea fires in my mind.

I like to think of ideas as trees.

I mean, nice strong trees. Not every soil is good to let trees grow, as well as there are countless kinds of trees in nature, so that every soil and climatic condition has its peculiarities and special flora. In the next year or so, I wish to make myself fertile soil for ideas of many different types. To let my ideas grow and flourish I will need a good seed: my willingness and thirst for novelty. Soil and seed are in this way different, since the first is given, the second comes from will.





The water will be the information and stimuli I will try to expose myself to. I started by subscribing to hbr, and I already wonder what cool thinks this review might bring to my attention. I can't wait to start taking care of my plants.
