Snow in Rome
Yesterday it snowed in Rome. It was a memorable event, since this city doesn't experience snow quite often..., last time it snowed it was in 2005, and was quite mild. The last time it really snowed was in 1985. So, 2010 12th February brought 3 cm of snow to cover the eternal city with a magical and fascinating white blanket. It was 15 minutes of pure joy and laughter, reminding me how Italians are unique, in bad and good ways. From the windows you could see a lot of people abandoning their desks and going to see the snow falling down, wearing a joyful childish expression. Someone was even trying to catch a snowflake out the window. It was fun...http://www.guardian.co.uk/weather/gallery/2010/feb/12/rome-europe

Yay snow in Rome! I bet it was magical. I miss it...
It was magical indeed, the snow in Rome is a rare event and everyone seized the chance to pick photos and engage in a snowball fight. I bet you miss it... but if you think of the sunshine of SF the snow can be easily forgotten.
